600W integrated motor/inverter [M600]
The M600 integrated power unit represents the distillation of the most advanced technology our company - Japan's first full-scale producer of an electric scooter - has to offer. This power unit incorporates an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) type brushless DC motor, a high performance rare-earth magnet, and improved heat endurance courtesy of the motor coil’s resin mold. The DSP (Digital Signal Processor) provides control over the weak field, while the FET power device and a layout that takes heat dissipation into consideration are employed - all of which add up to high performance. Furthermore, the improved motor output eliminates the need for a CVT unit. In addition, the unit achieves weight reduction with the integration of the motor and the control unit, while the reduced component-count results in cost savings.
